It’s the choice to get out on the field, or stay in the bleachers. It’s the point at which you make the call and go for it, or pull back and wait... again. It’s a moment in time that creates character, or where another chapter in your story is left unwritten.

Paul (the apostle) writes that through Jesus we’ve been given grace* (a gift that reconnects us with God). But with that gift, there comes the choice. Do we take the gift, and live a life that follows Jesus, or not? Do we embrace the forgiveness that He gives, or do we hold God at arms length, for at least one more day?

The inward journey is not simply about one choice, rather, its about series of choices that will make up our life. Who we choose to be, what we do with our talents and gifts, and how we react to God. The inward journey is one that you are already on. You just have to figure out if you are on the right path.

It’s your life. What will you do with it?
